I first met this family for their maternity shoot July, 2009. Soon after in Aug, 2009 I had the privilege of capturing their first born son. Fast forward to September 2010, I was once again allowed the opportunity to capture this adorable little family for little man’s first birthday. This time, they shared some very exciting news with me!! They were expecting their 2nd baby!!! I ♥ following “my” families and watching them grow. So, in Feb 2011 we met again for their 2nd maternity session and this past weekend, I captured their 2nd gorgeous little man.
By the looks of the last set of pictures, they MIGHT just have their hands full. 😉
Mark & Becky thank you so very much for allowing me to capture these special times in your life!!!! I love feeling like a part of the family!!!

It was so great to meet this gorgeous little family!! Little man was such a precious little angel and PERFECT. What a doll!!! He made my job easy.
The day had started out very emotional as we had just found out that we are expecting our 3rd and final baby. After struggling for years to have baby #2, finding out that baby #3 was coming after the first try, I was just overwhelmed.
They welcomed me into their home with my face all read and blotchy from crying, hair all frizzy from the rain & made me feel like I belonged there. Thank you so much for sharing this special day with me and making me feel at home!
Thank you for allowing me to capture your little guy!! Thank you little man for being such a peaceful little trooper. He was the easiest baby I’ve had in some time. He must have known I needed a little break.
I hope to get to see this little doll grow. He is just beautiful!!!
Much ♥~

This is one of my favorite little families. I have been with them since before the birth of their first little man. I love watching the little guy and their family grow. They always welcome me into their home & I feel like I’m part of the family. I was so excited when it was time to do little man’s 1 year photos and they told me they were expecting again. I can’t wait for this little guy to get here! Watch the blog in the coming 6 weeks to see the next adorable Baker baby. He’s sure to be a doll!!!

I am excited to announce the partnering of Julie MayRee Photography with Lemondrop Stop!!! For a limited quantity of Julie MayRee Signature Series backdrops.
The first 2 drops in the Julie MayRee Signature Series are near and dear to my heart.
The smell of fresh baked cinnamon rolls, the warmth of Nana’s hugs, the smile on her face, the place where family gathers, the comfort that you can only feel at home. Being 800 miles away from my home and my family has really made me treasure those small things. I actually cried when I opened this drop. It’s stunning and SO VERY lifelike. To have this piece of warmth, this piece of home in my photos to treasure forever!!! The first drop (pictured) is the “Little House” at my Nana’s. It brings back so many warm memories. The 2nd photo is of my Grandpa’s Toolbox. This one is special because my Grandfather passed away almost 35 years ago. I never met him but through my family, I know he was an amazing man. I am happy that I can share these special memories and places with you through this Limited Edition Signature Series.
If you haven’t already, please check out Lemondrop Stop. They offer affordable and versatile photography backdrops and floordrops featuring a line of faux wood designs and now Limited Edition Signature Series with SUPER QUICK turnaround time!!!
Their products have absolutely NO GLARE, in ANY lighting. They use an 8-color Fine Art printer that uses non-toxic UV Pigment Inks that are environmentally friendly. (which is AWESOME! Go Green!)
A little story about the shoot with this particular drop. I hung it up on my backdrop stands and was moving them to get them in the perfect spot. Needless to say, I knocked over my stands and this gorgeous polypaper drop laid in a crumpled ball under my stands. *tears* I thought for sure that I had destroyed my new drop. I picked everything up and the drop still looked beautiful!! Even after this little mishap. Durable, afordable, green and gorgeous are just a few words I would use to describe Lemondrop Stop’s Backdrops!!

I am so excited about the arrival of this sweet little baby. This will be my very first birth day photography experience. Daddy is overseas in Afghanistan serving Our Country. Mama was also military. (Thank you BOTH for your service to Our Country) They have two precious girls and baby #3 on the way. When Mom contacted me, we weren’t sure if Daddy was going to be able to be present for the baby’s birth day. I was both nervous and excited about being able to capture this day for him and tell him the story of his baby’s birth.
The morning we met to do the maternity photos, it was the coldest day yet in Wisconsin. The girls were troopers and did very well. We went to Tickled Pink in Williams Bay after the photos to visit and have hot cocoa to warm up. It was so nice to get to know the girls and their mama.
Baby’s due date was December 18th and still no baby. Daddy will be home for R&R, possibly tonight.
This makes my heart so happy. Daddy is going to be here for his sweet baby’s birth. I still get the privilege of capturing the baby’s birth but it looks like Daddy will get to be an even bigger part of that day then I first expected. Misty, here is wishing you your easiest birth yet!! I can’t wait to get the call!!!

Much Love~
