Isn’t this family beautiful!?! I find myself staring into their eyes, smiling back at them. They have been through so much this past year, yet they are so positive and so encouraging. The girls are so smart, beautiful and well behaved. Their mama is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. . . and their daddy …well he’s okay, I guess 😉
This sweet mama has wanted me to do a specific kind of photograph of her daughters for about a year, now. She sent me the link to her now retired photographer. She had such a raw, unique style so far different from my own style. I was up for the challenge. To be quite honest, I was nervous. I put my heart and soul into my work. I feared letting her down. I knew inside that I could do it, yet I was so worried. After their session, I edited a few photos and put them on my facebook fan page. I eagerly awaited her response. I stalked my fan page just waiting to hear her feedback….hours passed…more hours passed…I HAD to go to bed. I woke up in the morning and stalked some more…I stalked throughout the day. Finally, after almost 24 hours of stalking my own fan page….she replied to my post! Her reply brought tears to my eyes. “OMG, Julie! This is EXACTLY what I wanted. You are a dream believer and achiever, sweet lady! I can’t wait to see more : ) ” Those words kept ringing through my head…echoing in my heart…before I went to bed, I even had to read them once more. If you’ve followed me for long, you know my photography is something I put my entire heart and soul into. When it comes to my heART, nothing does me more good than to hear/see someone so happy with the art and memories I have created for their family. Elizabeth, I want to thank you for believing in me. Believing in my heART. Thank you for making me think outside the box! I pray that your family’s year improves and blessings pour down on you!!! YOU deserve it!
No session would be a Julie MayRee session without a few smiles and fun little POP of color!!! ♥
Check out their session from 3 years ago! I love to see how they have grown, as well as my work!
Thank you again for believing in me!!!
