Last night I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Emilia. When she stepped out of the car, I could tell we were going to have fun! What a unique style & personality!! Coming from me, who HATES to be like everybody else, I could tell she and I were going to get along just fine. Oh yeah, did I mention….she’s GORGEOUS!! We had a blast shooting!!! It was so great to meet you Emma!! Be sure to make your Sr. year the best one yet!!! Keep being uniquely you!!! You are awesome, girl!!

I was extremely excited when Becca contacted me to do her senior photos!!! We went over all of the details of her dress, her ideas, my ideas. I was sooooo excited to get photos of her with her horse, Pearl. I had so many great ideas with her in her gorgeous gown which included Pearl. But, as you can see…..Pearl was NOT afraid to show me what she REALLY thought of me!! 😉 We had such a fun time, even IF Pearl didn’t like me much Thanks, Becca!!! Here’s wishing you an amazing senior year!!!

As a photographer I feel very strongly about giving back of the talents I have been given. Two years ago I chose two charities that really pulled at my heart strings. One being Operation: Love Reunited and the other being Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. Please, when you have time to really sit down and check these charities out, do so. You will be touched! I had no “personal story” to link me to either of these charities, but I do have a heart that goes out to families in both of these situations.
I am a very passionate person and when I hear of a family like this one, sending their Daddy, their Friend, their Husband off to war, my heart just aches. I can’t even begin to imagine all of the thoughts and emotions they experience. THIS is why I chose OpLove as one of the main charities I donate my time & talents to. We donate a free session for deploying, depolyed and returning military families. In pre-deployment situations like this one, once the soldier arrives at his/her base, the solider or his/her family contacts me with the mailing address and I send a 4×6 album overseas to the soldier, free of charge. This is a way to try to to make them feel closer to home…. a little boost…a way to have a piece of home there with them. I hope in some way, having these photos will help the families feel closer to their soldier & the soldier closer to their families. It’s my way of saying, “THANK YOU for your service to Our Country!”
My words often fail me (as you can see) but I pray that my art & my heart never do!
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your service!!!

I’ve fallen a little behind on blogging, please forgive me. Things have been so hectic around here!!!
I could not help but blog these little fellas Aren’t they the cutest!?! We had quite the time. Poor little man wasn’t feeling the best & we didn’t realize until after that the little trooper had a double ear infection. (his 1st) Poor little man! His big brother and I had a fun time, though. We hunted for “Tiger” the purple bear who was digging holes in the woods.
I love my job & getting to enjoy the imagination of little ones. Thanks Anna for the opportunity to meet you and your little men!!!
Much love~
